Motion Design / 2023
The theme of this year's graduation exhibition is freedom. We focus on the freedom of creation to shed light on everyone's unique value.
My role
My graduation project is the overall visual design of our graduation exhibition. I play the role of producing the animation to promote the exhibition and creating the interactive screen.
Promoting Video
Final Frames
We drew inspiration from the core of dandelions that fly freely in the air, and we used numerous light spots to make up shapes such as spheres, triangles, and cubes.
Since our department is divided into four tracks: visual communication, animation, interior design, and product design. we want to demonstrate our ability to break traditional limitations and connect with the diversity within the design field.
With small dots of light as the main characters, weaving, coalescing, reorganizing, and eventually blossoming into infinite possibilities.
It symbolizes the process from abstract concepts to concrete results and presents the diversity of design.
In addition, we combined the abbreviation of our department with these
shapes, to stress the connection with our department
Animated Poster
The animation of the poster is drawn from a small light spot and gradually condensed into different shapes, eventually reaching a loop animation through the camera.

DEVELOPMENT
We tried to use textures from the real world in the scene to further emphasize the feature of dandelions that spread everywhere, but it was eliminated due to over-complexity.
Some effects are created with particular.
Some of the particles are made from C4D.
I mainly use hair object and cloner, then rendered depth images to get more details when applying glow in After Effects.
