Yunlin, the birthplace of Taiwanese glove puppetry, hosts the Yunlin International Puppet Festival to honor this rich tradition while connecting it to the world stage. The 2025 design, themed “Fusion of Tradition and Innovation,” transforms the puppeteer’s hands—symbols of skill and heritage—into contemporary characters that bridge classical essence with modern vitality.
